Summer Study Abroad Programs
Students can pursue summer study abroad opportunities throughout their undergraduate degree.
There are two types of summer abroad programs:
- Opportunities available through MacAbroad, McMaster’s formal exchange program, which require an application submitted to McMaster by mid-January each year.
- Opportunities independent from McMaster’s formal exchange program, which require a Letter of Permission from McMaster and an application directly through the host school.
Students interested in an independent summer abroad experience may explore options beyond those listed below. Students are responsible for researching and following the application and admission procedures, as well as obtaining any necessary travel documents.
Meet with the Academic Advisor for Study Abroad before applying to any study abroad programs or courses.
